Operation Pine Plains (OPP) is one to the premier MilSim Airsoft events in the country. It is a force-on-force, objective oriented, 20 hour continuous tactical simulation at one of the US Army’s premier urban
training facilities – Fort Drum MOUT CTF (Collective Training Facility). OPP has access to the main MOUT CTF as well as two (2) auxiliary MOUT sites, an Airfield and a new cave complex training area. In total 12 square kilometers.
Operation Pine Plains has been designed by Major Bucciarelli (retired), a career US Army Infantry Officer, in association with top airsofter players to provide a “real” military experience through a continuous tactical simulation. Major Bucciarelli has brought on a professional Cadre of retired or current US Army Infantry soldiers to help Command, Train and be O/C for this event.
Company A is being lead by Major Cancelliere (Retired) & SFC Manson (retired)
Company B is being lead by 1SG Anderson & SFC Froelich (retired)
To learn more about this Command staff and the Observers Controllers check out the Cadre section on the Op Pine Plains website. http://oppineplains.com/page.php?6
Safety and training are the highest priorities in replicating combat scenarios. Our ultimate goal is to
provide civilians with a positive military experience through simulation of combat and strategy. One of the things that makes OPP different is the training that takes place for 4-5 hours in the morning prior to the event taking place with the professional command staff and the O/C.
Operation Pine Plains will test your mettle -tactically, physically, mentally and spiritually!
Operation Pine Plains III is 4-7 September 2009 at Fort Drum, New York.
This event is open to international players. All players must register not
later than 5 August 2009. Please visit the Operation Pine Plains website at
