THOR Global Defense Group: Beginning of A New Era for Maritime Security Representatives from THOR in talks with 16 Oceanic Freight Corporations
Security services provider THOR Global Defense Group announced today that it is in talks with some sixteen maritime corporations seeking a solution to the influx of piracy upon the seas. Attacks have skyrocketed in recent months and many shipping companies are showing signs of frustration with the current state of things. “We’re prepared with a number of solutions to provide cost effective and efficient security options to anyone in the maritime industry.” Says Roger Holland, Director of Security Operations at THOR.
THOR Global Defense Group states that they are aware of the entire industry’s anticipation for protective services and have made steps to provide the best possible solutions to protect their vessels, employees, and cargo. Currently patrols in the threatened area have been more than present, but with forces spread thin, there’s still been a gap with the ability to completely nullify piracy efforts.
THOR stated in a previous session that they currently have forces located in many key locations prepared to respond quickly to any incident worldwide, and with strikes occurring outside of past “hotspots”, companies who managed to evade attacks in the past are now facing the new threat.
“We’re prepared to take any steps necessary to ensure the safety of our customers and their cargo.” says Larry Knesek, President and CEO of THOR Global Defense Group, he continues, “Our customers come first, and I plan to deliver total satisfaction to each and every one of them.”
